ABOUT US
Transition Triathlon opened for business in Leesburg in April 2011. Living and training in Loudoun County, we saw a need for a place where multi-sport athletes could find a great selection of gear, apparel and nutrition under one roof. Through our own and friends' experiences, we know that picking out triathlon gear involves very personal choices, so we aimed to create a place where customers can see the products for themselves, try them on, feel the fabrics, sample the nutrition. Beyond that, we want TT to be a place where athletes can hang out, meet like-minded people, participate in group rides, runs and other activities.

Steve Makranczy has been racing triathlon for more than 10 years. Having competed in races from sprint distance to ironman, he has lots of experience that he is more than willing to share. Steve is a licensed massage therapist and practiced massage professionally for 10 years. Many of his clients were athletes and he has a good working knowledge of the way triathlon training and competition affects the body. He has coached triathletes for races of all distances. Steve plans and teaches the majority of the on site clinics for Transition Triathlon. He is a full time Real Estate agent who also enjoys fishing, baseball, and skiing.
